Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) is a layer of approximately 0.6 mm black diamond granules compressed at a very high pressure and temperature onto a hard-metal carrier.
- Much longer tool life then hard-metal tools while processing abrasive materials.
- Suitable for machining various materials including hardwood, glued-laminated wood, plastics, reinforced plastics, Trespa and Corian.
Note: PCD is fragile, always keep in packaging when not in use.
